The Right Time is Now.

People, companies, programs, media, and educators are being awarded for creating the environment where men and women are equally valued, honored, and heard. 

Voting process:

  • Public voting - we will collect nominations through an online form with set criteria. January 8th - February 12th, 2021.
  • Selected judges will review the nominations. February 12th, 2021 - March 1st, 2021.
  • Nominees will be published on this website on March 5th, 2021.
  • The winners will be revealed during the awards event on March 19th, 2021. 

Voting Categories and Criteria

Company AYA 2021 Significant contribution by a single company to create inclusive work cultures that welcome, support, and retain women in technology.  

Male Ally of the Year 2021 Significant personal contribution to co-creating opportunities and building a personal brand for accountability & trust for women in cybersecurity & privacy.  

Educator AYA 2021 Significant contribution by an educational entity that has made significant progress in educating about gender equality for women in technology.

Investor AYA 2021 Significant contribution by a financial entity that has made a large financial investment to support women who are entrepreneurs in the technology field.

People's Choice AYA 2021 Significant contribution leading initiatives that continuously promote and empower women in technology. This award is for those that may have gone unnoticed but deserve being recognized for their ongoing contributions.

Program AYA 2021 Significant contribution by a program that has made significant progress in building a community of supporters that continuously cultivate an attitude of encouragement for women.

Non-profit AYA 2021 The significant contribution of a nonprofit whose mission has made a large impact on building an inclusive society for women in the working world.

Recruiter AYA 2021 A significant contribution by a single recruiter or recruiting company making gender equality the priority. 

Media AYA 2021 A significant contribution by a media outlet with the most extensive coverage of women in technology.

Philanthropy AYA 2021 Significant contribution by a philanthropy foundation or person that demonstrates outstanding commitment through financial support and through encouragement and motivation of women to take leadership roles in technology.
